Annual Beneficiary Program
Battle of the Badges is an annual event dedicated to supporting first responder organizations across the Capital Region.
Each year, one organization is selected as the primary beneficiary of event proceeds.

How the Beneficiary Program Works
Battle of the Badges was created to make a meaningful, local impact—not just once, but year after year.
-
Each year, one first responder organization is selected as the beneficiary.
-
Proceeds from the event are directed toward a specific, defined need.
-
The goal is to support infrastructure, equipment, or operational improvements that directly benefit service delivery and responder safety.
-
Funds raised stay local.
Looking Ahead: 2027 & Beyond
Beginning in 2027, Battle of the Badges will accept beneficiary applications from eligible first responder organizations.
Our goal is to:
-
Rotate beneficiaries annually
-
Support organizations with clear, tangible needs
-
Ensure fairness and transparency in the selection process
